Dotty Kitchen Catering is fully licenced and has been registered and working in the South of France now for nearly ten years and we pride ourselves in our reputation, service and provision of quality food, sourced wherever locally, delivered in a timely fashion and exceeding client expectations. We have caterered for guests from all over the world in our gite catering, undertaken numerous events, weddings, special occasions, birthdays, childrens parties and have also run our own bistro/restaurant. The bistro has now closed to enable us to concentrate on the catering side of the business but the Trip Advisor reviews can still be accessed for our client reviews of which we are proud. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you, thank you so so much for making our wedding day so special. It really was the most magical & perfect day :)

You made us feel so relaxed with your lovely positive energy, the food was so perfect! Exactly what we had in mind, and it went perfectly with the setting and the weather! The Pyrenees cheesecake was delicious and latest for days after, and the profiteroles were the best we had ever tasted! Thank you for making sure the vegetarian & vegan option was equally as tasty as the meat option. We had so many compliments on the food & the canapes, a long with how lovely the staff were.

Thanks again so much and all the best for the rest of the summer! We wish we could do it all over again!

We had our wedding in Carcassonne in July 2017, and honestly couldn't have asked for a more lovely, professional, accommodating and efficient catering team!

Lisa was with us every step of the way and was such a reassuring, calming presence in the run up to our big day. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her expert guidance and knowledge of local vendors ensured that we had the perfect menu for 85 guests! Not to mention that the food was absolutely delicious!

We can't recommend Lisa and her team at Dotty Kitchen enough. Thank you so much for everything!

Jade and Jack - Bastide Les Alliberts Minervois July 2017

We can't praise Lisa and Keith enough! Organising a wedding in the south of France from the UK is very daunting especially when neither of us can speak French, but from contacting Lisa initially, to the delivery of the catering on our wedding day, Lisa couldn't have been more efficient! Every email I sent was promptly replied to within hours of sending them!

A few months prior, Lisa visited the venue to ensure everything was in place, and to impress us more she even came again to visit us when we arrived in France to ensure everything was in place as planned! On the wedding day, we had chosen a buffet style meal which Lisa and Keith served on the tables to keep a more intimate feel on the day. The food was outstanding! We was still eating it 3 days later! Beyond value for money that’s for sure! For our wedding cake we ordered a real cheese cake, which Lisa beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients, again the cake managed to feed 30 people for 3 days with still tones left over!

I can’t praise the food and the service enough! If it wasn’t for Lisa, organising my wedding in France wouldn’t have been possible I don’t think. I’d highly recommend Dotty’s Kitchen without a doubt!

Lisa was an angel from the beginning! She was there every step of the way with every wish and change of mind. The food that we had for the week was absolutely delicious It was a godsend to have the dinner arrive for 18 people. The wedding day was amazing with tables filled with everything we adore and the wedding cakes were divine! I couldn't recommend this kind, talented, generous soul enough. 'We would like to thank Lisa and Dottie Kitchen so much for the amazing job she has done on our weddding day at Chatea de Queille!

From the start of our conversations about our ideas of food and ways of presentation Lisa has been an absolute star and such a big help to make sure our wedding day and food was exactly how we pictured it and listened very well to our wishes/ She still made it happen and again on the day when our outside diner got interrupted with a shower of rain; she made sure there was a direct solution and the diner wasnt in any way interrupted. And on that note; as being the bride, Lisa made sure I didnt have to worry about anything and made sure eveything was well arranged so I had a complete care free day and able to enjoy every minute of my wedding day and I cant thank her enough for that. You cant have a better caerer; who you can trust completely and she easily took care of our 90 guests. And as an extra bonus she helped us out with so many other little things as well or providing contacts in th area, as we dont speak much French and due to her quick responses and information we were able to organise our dream wedding from the UK. Thank you Lisa and everyone who helped you that day!

"Dotty Kitchen catered for my husband's 60th birthday party on 19th June 2016. The process of booking and ordering was simple and reassuring. After contacting Lisa and Keith by email, we met up for an hour at our house in Montréal, where they explained about a wide variety of menu options and also confirmed the routine for the day of the party. They also offered to source disposable crockery and glasses within the price of €12 per person.

Three days before the party, we confirmed our numbers. Although we had estimated 50 places this had dropped to 35 because of a clash of dates. There was no issue with this as throughout the process Lisa and Keith were professional, flexible and friendly.

On the day, we just had to set out the tables and organise drinks. Despite an incredibly busy few days, Lisa and Keith arrived a little before time, at 3.30 for a5pm start. There was a huge amount of food all temptingly displayed on French style crockery with all the components of the agreed menu. There was an ample supply of plastic plates, glasses and napkins. The party went off brilliantly. There were many compliments about the quality of the food and the amount too. At the end of the evening we simply collected up the disposable items and left the Dotty Kitchen crockery for them to collect, unwashed, the next day. Simple and so effective!

We felt the experience was very good value for money and left us free to enjoy a very special birthday. The service Dotty Kitchen provided was ideal for our needs and we would recommend them unreservedly. We would certainly use them again.

Terms and Conditions of Trading - Dotty Kitchen Catering

Terms and Conditions – from March 2016

1) Booking Your Date with Dotty Kitchen Catering

a) All event bookings must be confirmed in writing or email by the Client. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure Dotty Catering for the date of your event.

b) All bookings are subject to minimum guest numbers, these will be confirmed in writing or e mail by Dotty Kitchen to the Clients.

2) Deposit

a) A deposit figure (subject to the inclusion of VAT) will be provided to the Client in by e mail once your booking confirmation is received.

b) This deposit will be deducted from the total event costs which will be issued to the Client no later than 10 working days prior to the event (please see our Payment terms below).

c) Payment methods available include bank transfer, cheque and cash.

3) Booking Confirmation

a) Once the Clients deposit has been received a confirmation by e mail will be issued by Dotty Kitchen together with a confirmation which will include your draft menu, event summary and estimated costs based on the number of guests and selections made by the Client at this time.

4) Variations to the Price

a) All bookings are subject to minimum guest numbers which will be confirmed by Dotty Cateringat the time of booking.

5) Payment of Total Event Costs Prior to Event

a) Payment in full is required for all catering services to be provided by Dotty Catering prior to the event. Final guest numbers must be confirmed to Dotty Catering no later than 15 working days prior to the event.

b) The information provided at this point will be used to produce your total event cost invoice, arrange staff and co-ordinate with your venue. Once our invoice is received by the Client payment must be received no later than 10 working days before the event.

c) Should Dotty Kitchen be advised of any changes to event requirements (including the reduction of guest numbers) at a date less than 15 working days prior to the event, Dotty Kitchen Catering reserve the right to accept these changes and reduce our invoice value, however should increases occur due to additions once full payment have been received Dotty Kitchen Catering will raise an additional invoice following the event for these guests or extras food needed, payment will then be due for immediate settlement by the Client.

6) Cancellation Charges

a) In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled confirmed in writing will be needed by the Client. Your deposit will be retained and the following charges will be incurred

I) Cancellation received within 60 working days of event – 50% of total event cost

ii) Cancellation received within 15 working days of event – 100% of the total event cost

b) The total event cost will be based on the numbers of guests scheduled, at the agreed price per head + VAT.

c) Any additional costs incurred by Dotty Kitchen Catering in preparation of the event up until the time of cancellation will be charged to the Client. This is to cover any losses caused to Dotty Kitchen Catering for administration costs, travel, supplies etc. and will be discussed fully in event of cancellation.

7) Dietary Requirements and Allergies

a) Dotty Kitchen Catering will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 10 working days prior to the event).

8) Clients Food and Drinks

a) We accept no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in additional to those arranged by Dotty Kitchen Catering.

a) The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by Dotty Kitchen Catering for the event, including any issues caused by the Client guests.

10) Liability of Dotty Kitchen Catering

a) Dotty Kitchen Catering accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing Dotty Kitchen Catering Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.

11) Force Majeure

a) Dotty Kitchen Catering shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Dotty Kitchen Catering’s control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.

Hog Roasts

Please note that hog roasts are subject to specific conditions. In periods of dry weather fire restrictions may apply. Other options will be provided in lieu.
